Frank Seeburger, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus of the University of Denver, where he taught for forty-one years before retiring in 2013. A former chair of the Philosophy Department there, he is also a former Director of the Joint University of Denver-Iliff School of Theology Ph.D. Program in Religious and Theological Studies. He is the author of various articles and five books: The Stream of Thought; Addiction and Responsibility: An Inquiry into the Addictive Mind; Emotional Literacy: Keeping Your Heart; The Open Wound: Trauma, Identity, and Community; and God, Prayer, Suicide, and Philosophy: Reflections on Some of the Issues of Life. In addition, he writes an “occasional” blog devoted to “Trauma and Philosophy” (firstname.lastname@example.org).
